Logical Chaos

Modeled in 3dsmax, rendered in Luxrender. View full size, or your eyes might cross from the checkerboard pattern on the ground plane. hehe. This turned out to be one of the more challenging and interesting modelling projects I've tried so far in 3dsmax. Used a VERY handy plugin modifier called MegaBevel to help the process along. Really would have been much more work to do this shape without it. You can find the plugin here:

The array tool was used to rotate the shape into what you see here. I offset the pivot to the edge of the shape before using the array to rotate 8 copies of it around the Y axis. Used LuxMax to export the final scene to Luxrender. Lighting is HDRI environment map.
