Modeled in 3dsmax, rendered in Luxrender v1.0.

There may be no shape I like more than the Hydra primitive in 3dsmax. I love polyhedra shapes in general. This was created using the hydra primitive in 3dsmax, and the spacing tool to place them on the randomly extruded hexagon (hive) platform.
