The mysterious, ancient knots appear in the most secluded, desolate areas of far away planets. No one knows who built them, or what their purpose is; only that they mark the end of a civilization or life-cycle.
I was playing around more with some mathematical knot formations in 3dsmax, and this came out. Rendered with the Corona renderer Alpha 5.
